WHERE DOES Our Medical Alarm System WORK?

Our Medical Alarm Service is designed to protect you in your home – when you can’t be seen or heard. The transmitter Button has a maximum range of 50 metres in ‘open space’. It will send a message to the Dialler box in and around most standard single or double storey homes.

IS IT WATERPROOF?

YES. The transmitter Button is fully waterproof and can be worn in the bath or shower.

HOW MANY CONTACTS DO I NEED TO HAVE?

It is preferable to have at least TWO people who we can call to check on you, before we call an ambulance. Your Contacts need to be trusted friends, relatives or neighbours and preferably each have a spare key, or know where to find one.

DO YOU CALL AN AMBULANCE?

YES. We will call an ambulance if NONE of your Contacts are available, OR if we are able to determine that you are severely injured (based on the two-way loudspeaker facility in the Dialler box when we call back after an Alarm).

WHAT IF MY HOUSE IS LOCKED?keysafe

We keep secure information in our computers about the location of Spare Keys outside your home. You may have a ‘hiding place’ , OR, for $50, we can provide you with a ‘Combination Key Safe Padlock’ that can house spare keys securely and be attached to a secure object outside the home.

WILL IT WORK ON MY PHONE?

YES. The Dialler box is connected to your telephone line, and your Phone handset continues to operate as normal.

WILL MY HEALTH FUND COVER THE COST?

Not Generally. Unless you have specific injury that your health fund is supporting. Please check with your health fund provider.

IS MY INFORMATION SECURE?

YES. Our database is held within the highest classification level in the Security Industry (Grade A1 Monitoring Centre).

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

None.We supply all equipment. You do need a standard telephone service (landline).

WHAT IF WE HAVE A BLACKOUT/POWER FAILURE?

Our Dialler box has battery back-up. So in the event of a Power Outage, the Dialler will continue to operate and you will be protected.

HOW DO I GET YOUR SERVICE?

There are NO application forms, you simply need to CALL us on 1800 24 66 51, and ask us to set up a service for you. We will arrange a suitable time and day to come to your home.

If I pay 12 months in advance and have to cancel during this time do I get a refund?

YES. We will refund the ‘unused portion’ of the 12 months advance payment up to a maximum of 50% of the fee paid.
